Llanwenog sheep originate from West
Wales, particularly in the Teifi Valley.
They were developed in the 19th
century from the crossing of the Shropshire breed and a black faced,
horned breed local to the area of the Teifi Valley.
The Breed is of very placid
temperament and Ewe's weigh an average of 55KG.
